IP Backbone Though our Partners Qtte NOCS are interconnected by the means of fully-meshed dedicated links from different bandwidth providers. Each NOC is equipped with redundant Force 10 switches implementing low latency queuing for predictable quality of service.

All links are overprovisioned with bandwidth to ensure loss-free packet transmission. For optimal delivery of calls to customers using the Internet for connecting to the network, NEKO Telecommunications is interconnected with several Tier1 IP carriers in each NOC.

Switching: NEKOs network equipment is organized in clusters of redundant switches. The equipment is located in secure, state-of-the-art carrier facilities with redundant power and access control. Should a NOC fail nevertheless, calls will automatically be rerouted to the closest NOC, with an unnoticeable impact on the call quality.

PSTN Gateways In an increasing number of countries, NEKO operates its own media gateways and switches. In order to achieve maximum coverage, NEKO partners with selected CLECs in countries where it does not have its own PSTN infrastructure.

Whatever gateway scenario is used for a specific country, call signalling is always consistent due to the fact that your SIP endpoints will always communicate directly with NEKO equipment.
